Who I am

I'm Olivia, I live in Totnes, Devon, with my Husband, son and cat.

After my degree in Fashion design, I developed a career in fashion marketing and then during the pandemic I got a job in staff wellbeing at the NHS, where I developed my knowledge and skills in coaching and mental health. Then, in 2026 I completed a financial coaching course by wise monkey financial coaching.

Me and Money

After finishing my degree, I realised that I had never really understood how to manage my money, when I had it, I spent it, and when I didn't, I lived cheaply, and was lucky enough to have parents who could support me when I needed it. After graduating I wanted to move in with my boyfriend (now husband) but had no money to put towards a deposit for a flat, he covered it, and along with being at the bottom of my overdraft, I knew something needed to change.

With this realisation, something changed within me that pushed me into monitoring my spending, creating a budget and very slowly saving money to get out of my overdraft and pay my boyfriend back for the moving in costs. I didn't realise it at the time, but the change in my mindset and the skills I built, would set me up for my future to be able to manage my money, and become more financially literate.

I had always been good at maths and very organised, but that didn't mean that it translated into financial literacy. We all have complicated lives, and complicated money stories, with influences from our parents, culture, society, area we live and more, so it’s only natural that we need support in learning a way to make our money work for us, instead of against us.

Me and my home

I've always been affected by my environment, my spaces always needed to be personalised and made to feel like a supportive place just for me. But it wasn't until the pandemic, and buying my first home that I really got to be creative, and create a space that functioned for the life I wanted to live.

As responsibilities grew, and free time became more scarce, I started to understand what it took to keep your house feeling like a home, and I began to analyse all the things around me and the effect they had. Books I was bad at reading mocked me from the shelf, clothes that didn't feel like me made me question my identity from the wardrobe, and unfinished projects made me feel like a failure.

As I started to curate my home in a way I had never witnessed, I found confidence and peace within it. I'm a highly sensitive person, but you don't have to be highly sensitive to be hugely affected by your space, and that's why I help people to create homes that support them in their daily life.
